For those who are not members of or following the doings of the Roman Catholic Church, you may not know (or care, actually!) that well known pro-life priest Fr. Frank Pavone has been laicized by the Vatican – actually, by Pope Francis himself! – and Fr. Pavone believes that this is only the step before he is excommunicated and removed entirely from that Church! Laicization means that Fr. Pavone is no longer a priest and in fact, the Vatican announcement speaks of him as Mr. Pavone.
Now, you must remember, this is the same Church that has defended, protected and hidden from prosecution God knows how many priests and hierarchs involved in sexual crimes against children! They also laud and applaud “priests” such as “Fr.” James Martin, a Jesuit, who is an open supporter and defender of all things LGBT+ including “gay marriage.” What Martin both defends and promotes is called in the doctrines of his own Church, “the sin that cries out to heaven” – but apparently, the present Pope has no problem with either Martin or the simply scads of priests, bishops and cardinals throughout “his” Church who are more supportive of “the world, the flesh and the Devil” than they are of either Jesus Christ or St. Peter, whose representative on earth the Pope is supposed to be!
Fr. Pavone has never been a favorite of the post-Vatican II Council Church, mostly because of his high profile defense of the unborn including the founding of a group called “Priests for Life.” Why there should be a need for such a group presupposes problems in the post-conciliar Church as the natural understanding of the matter would itself presuppose that as the sanctity of life is a primary doctrine of that Church, all priests, bishops, cardinals and popes would be “pro-life!”
But, alas, as was known by most of the “traditional” Catholic laity – who are despised by the current “leaders” of their own Church – such was not the case and Fr. Pavone ruffled many clerical feathers by condemning (so-called) Catholic politicians who support “a woman’s right to choose” albeit that choice is the murder of the most helpless and innocent among us – definitely not a Christian precept!
In his support of the pro-life movement, Fr. Pavone’s superiors in the Church warned that though he was permitted to take part in the movement – how could they forbid it, for God’s sake! – it was not his place as a priest to take a leadership role. In other words, he could speak at a rally, but, according to his ecclesiastical superiors, he shouldn’t/couldn’t lead that rally.
Now, this viewpoint simply validates the fact that in the present Catholic Church many of its “leaders” have lost the understanding of what it is to be a leader in their own Church! For priests are called to be “shepherds” as Christ was recognized – and called – the Shepherd of God’s people. Indeed, He often referred to the People of God as His “sheep.” “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” [John 10:11] How is this different from, say a cowherd? Simple! Those who herd cattle do so from behind! They drive their herd!
Shepherds, on the other hand, walk ahead of their flocks. They lead and the sheep, in trust, follow! When a bishop or a cardinal tells a priest not to lead in a matter that affects the Church, that prelate is not one of the shepherds but, rather, is a “hired hand” about which Christ warned: “The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.” [John 10:12-13]
Yet, I am willing to wager that Fr. Pavone was not removed from the priesthood simply because of his pro-life advocacy or even his scolding of pro-abortion so-called “Catholic” politicians whose only connection with the Church is a matter of name recognition and the obtaining of donations and votes. No, rather, I believe that it was Fr. Pavone’s “relationship” with the one man in the world that has been rejected by the present Catholic Church and all those who are worshippers of the New World Order and its predicted leader, the prophesied Antichrist. That man, is, of course, Donald J. Trump. I doubt that much has been said, at least for publication, that this is Fr. Pavone’s ultimate sin. As the present “Catholic Church” (a/k/a “the Vatican”) rejects all for which Trump ostensibly stands, one of their own – and a “high profile” priest at that! – showing support for their version of the Antichrist [!] cannot be countenanced.
I do not know the particulars of Fr. Pavone’s involvement with Donald Trump except that he was the chairman of Catholics for Trump from which he stepped down in priestly obedience when his bishop demanded that he do so. The bishops involved hated Fr. Pavone’s involvement in Trump’s pro-life policies. But given that the man has spent years in the abortion battle without being openly “punished” for his efforts, one can only believe that he had “sinned” on quite a different aspect of the issue; that is, his support of Donald Trump’s own pro-life agenda as President.
So, given Francis’ present campaign to become the New World Order’s recognized “religious head,” it makes sense that a leader who rejects globalism and supports the United States of America – in other words, Donald Trump! – would indeed be the proverbial straw that led to laicization of this disobedient priest! For there is no doubt that Francis is “embracing” all religions so as to present the best known face to lead the emerging New World Order’s “Religious Bureau.” Francis even brought wooden pagan idols from the Amazon and after “worshipping” them in the Vatican gardens, placed them in the Church of St. Peter, much to the horror and dismay of his own scandalized “flock.”
Incidentally – and to avoid the appearance of persecution – the Vatican solemnly declared that Fr. Pavone was given every opportunity to repent of his actions or, in the alternative, to dispute the Vatican’s decree, but that good man stated that he never heard or saw anything until judgment was rendered against him. Given that Fr. Pavone serves The Truth and The Life and his accusers serve the Father of Lies, I feel it is more than safe to take his word on this matter.
However, in my case this issue presented quite another aspect that is probably not in the minds of others who are now trying to deal with it – the announcement was only recently made after all! My concern involves my own thoughts about Donald J. Trump. I voted for Trump in the New York Republican primaries before the 2016 election and in the general election itself.
However, I went to bed that night in the despair of believing we would get a truly evil individual as our President on the next day. Imagine my delight – and relief! – when I was proved wrong, It is my opinion that Trump won because the Deep State didn’t give him a chance in hell at the time and so did not put into place all the crookedness and corruption that was used so successfully in 2020 – and 2022! Evil people learn quickly and it would seem that Satan never sleeps!
Nonetheless, as time went on and I saw how all the evil in the known world was lined up to destroy Trump with only a very few willing to put their own lives and reputations in danger to support and defend him, my native New York paranoia began to kick in! Trump looked and sounded good! I knew something of his life when he was younger and he had done many kind and generous things that he never made public. One of my favorite historical figures, Ronald Reagan, had spoken well of “The Donald” when he met him as a young man.
But … the Father of Lies is a great deceiver! Suppose that the very person to whom I was looking as a possible savior at this most dangerous time in history was himself the Antichrist promised in the last days? I remembered that the anti-government “hero” sought out by Winston in Orwell’s 1984 proved to be an agent of that same government and so Winston was betrayed – and destroyed! What if the man that so many were looking to for deliverance from Biden & Co. (if possible!) was, himself, the means of our betrayal!
And so, while I admit that what happened to Fr. Pavone does not entirely end my concerns, it is a strong indication that the present day “Roman Catholic Church” sees in Donald Trump not an ally, but an enemy – and that is a very good sign as far as I am concerned! For, indeed, the enemy of my enemy may be my friend and any enemy of the New World Order, however flawed, helps to create hope in these dark and evil days.
I don’t know if either Fr. Pavone or Donald Trump will prevail at least in the here and now. But I do know, if they are good men, they will prevail in the hereafter.
