Dissident Mama, episode 68 – Father John Peck

Fr. John A. Peck is the pastor of All Saints of North America Orthodox Church in Youngtown, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, an Orthodox priest under ROCOR, the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, and dean of Great Martyr Euphemia Orthodox Theological Academy. He runs the websites Fr. John Peck, Preachers Institute, Good Guys Where Black, Journey To Orthodoxy, and Ecclesioclasm, the bold video series he co-hosts with our mutual friend, George Michalopulos of the Monomakhos blog.

Fr. Peck and I discuss building up the Orthodox Church on American soil, Orthodoxy escaping detection, the Ludwell Orthodox Fellowship, subversion that’s trying to break the Church, jurisdictionalism, Ukraine, increasing persecution of Orthodox Christians, and how in confusion there is opportunity. As the good father so aptly stated, “the modern world doesn’t need more modernism.”
