Dissident Mama, episode 61 – John Bush

John Bush is the founder of Live Free Academy which is hosting a one-day homeschool summit and a weekend workshop aimed at demystifying home-based and alternative education for beginners as well as inspiring those who’ve been at it for a while. His and the academy’s overall mission is to support people on their “journey towards greater freedom in the areas of financial independence, decentralization and cryptocurrency, and exit and build strategies” by offering courses, membership, consulting, podcasts, and events like the ones we’ll be talking about.

The free Homeschool Virtual Summit is happening tomorrow, July 14, at 11 a.m. Central. Speakers include Dr. Ron Paul, Jack Spirko, Kerry McDonald, and Richard Grove, so if you’re interested, sign up ASAP! Led by Bluebird Solorzano, a veteran teacher of government schools and alternative education, the paid in-person and virtual Homeschool Ready Workshop is taking place July 29 to 31 at the Bastrop Convention Center in Bastrop, Texas. Both “Exit and Build” events are not only a great step in the right direction toward “freeing the children,” but they serve to free parents who may think homeschooling is just too scary or to encourage longtime homeschoolers who simply need to be recharged. Bush also does a yeoman’s job explaining the practical side of bitcoin and its benefits as an investment to achieve greater financial stability or even independence.
